SSBA was formed in 1989 to provide a healthy baseball environment for Springfield area players regardless of their skill level. To implant firmly in the youth of the community the ideas of good sportsmanship, honesty and courage, so that they may be finer, stronger and happier youth and will grow to be good, clean, healthy adults.
