Call 601-807-6470 for more info The purpose of OPERATION G.R.I.T.S. is to provide a service for the community to give gifts to soldiers that are stationed overseas primarily at Christmas, but may also send boxes to soldiers at other times of the year. GRITS acts as a trustee or intermediary for local businesses, churches, schools, civic organizations and individuals, who purchase items/donations suggested on an approved list by the military. GRITS sole operational activity is to transmit those donations to the soldiers overseas, which includes storing, transferring, shipping, and packing these items to be delivered to the soldiers.
