The Tebala Shrine organization in Rockford, Illinois is affiliated with Shriners International, an international fraternity of approximately half million members which is best known for supporting the Shriners Hospitals for Children. THE PREMIERE FRATERNAL ORGANIZATION FOR MEN OF GOOD CHARACTER. COMMITTED TO PROVIDING ATTRACTIVE, QUALITY PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FOR ITS MEMBERS, THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS IN A SPIRIT OF FUN, FELLOWSHIP AND SOCIAL CAMARADERIE.FOSTERING SELF IMPROVEMENT THROUGH LEADERSHIP, EDUCATION, THE PERPETUATION OF MORAL VALUES AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT. While Shriners are generally recognized for their colorful Parade units and red Fezzes there is a much less known but far more important side to this fraternity. Shriners are a brotherhood of men committed to family engaged in ongoing personal growth and dedicated to providing care for children and families in need.
