AICUO represents private, nonprofit colleges and universities in Ohio, conducting public relations, research, and government relations for its members TO REPRESENT THE INTEREST OF ITS MEMBERS TO OHIO'S LAWMAKERS, REGULATORS AND CITIZENS. TO STRENGTHEN STUDENT FINANCIAL AID PROGRAMS AND BRING ABOUT A GREATER UNDERSTANDING OF THE IMPACT AND CONTRIBUTIONS OF OHIO INDEPENDENT COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES. TO PROMOTE THE WELL BEING OF OHIO HIGHER EDUCATION AS A WHOLE, WITH SPECIAL REGARD FOR THE DUAL PRIVATE/PUBLIC NATURE OF THE RESPONSIBILITY TO SERVE THE EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL AND CULTURAL NEEDS OF THE STATE OF THE NATION.

Issue Briefs feature a more detailed analysis of an issue related to higher education. Affiliate Membership Affiliate Membership is an opportunity for high quality businesses and organizations to work with AICUO member institutions and support higher education in Ohio. I decided to attend The College of Wooster because of the Posse Foundation scholarship and the various career opportunities offered through APEX.
