On the last day of Women's History Month, we would like to acknowledge the great accomplishments of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. As a young law student, she faced gender discrimination first hand, leading her to co-found the ACLU's Women's Rights Project. She successfully argued cases that challenged laws restricting women's access to education and professional opportunities. As a Supreme Court Justice, she ruled in favor of strengthening protections against gender discrimination in schools and workplaces. Thanks to her efforts, women today have greater access to higher education and professional fields once closed to them. (fb)
