Deaf THINK POSITIVE provides abstinent-based treatment/prevention for people throughout Ohio who are struggling with alcohol and drug addictions. Our programs provide effective treatment options for populations that are typically underserved and experience high rates of addiction, suicide and violence. Deaf THINK POSITIVE utilizes the arts to help people recover from violence and trauma, or from being pushed aside and left out while growing up. These populations include people who are Deaf, Hard-of-hearing or Deaf/blind. Deaf THINK POSITIVE creates appropriate treatment modalities by using a team of professionals from the community that understands the intrinsic challenges and strengths of these populations.
