Memorial Day Military Salute – Honoring Private George Budde, USMC On this Memorial Day, we gather to honor the life, sacrifice, and legacy of Private George Budde, United States Marine Corps, who gave his life in the final moments of World War I. 📍 Location: St. Joseph Original Cemetery – Section 15 📅 Date: Monday, May 26th 🕙 Time: 10:00 AM Private Budde holds the solemn distinction of being one of the final American foot soldiers to fall under enemy fire before the signing of the Armistice.
