Bay Area Childrens Association

Follow Message Edit

The mission of the Bay Area Children's Association is to provide evidence-based mental health services to as many children, youth, and young adults as possible in the surrounding geographic area of the San Francisco Bay Area. Our vision is that all children with mental health issues in this area will have access to comprehensive, high-quality, and scientifically confirmed treatment. The agency will provide all services needed for treatment in one location, to provide ease of access in mental health treatment. In addition, the agency hopes to identify and remove barriers that families face in accessing mental health services. Comprehensive evaluations, taking place over multiple visits, rather than a single, rushed interaction, will be completed on all children served by the agency. Multiple treatment options, including biological, social and psychotherapy options will be presented so that families may choose whichever treatment models best work for them. The Bay Area Children's Association mission is to cure mental illness in our patients, so that they may develop into adults and realize their full potential.
