The heat and wind played a huge role in the times out there, but all the athletes fought hard the entire meet, and some even achieved personal records in the tough conditions. For example, Russell Ward and Camila Mendez were both able to pr in the 84-degree heat and blustery winds. Congratulations to Dr. David Rhea, the Founding Dean of the GovState Honors College, who has been selected as a recipient of the Japan Studies Institute (JSI) Fellowship.
