CCBA WAS ESTABLISHED IN THE 1880S IN ORDER TO HELP CHINESE IMMIGRANTS IN STARTING A NEW LIFE IN THE CHICAGO AREA. TODAY, CCBA CONDUCTS A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS THAT EDUCATE CHINESE IMMIGRANTS ABOUT US CITIZENSHIP, PROMOTE AND PRESERVE CHINESE HERITAGES AND CULTURAL TRADITIONS IN THE COMMUNITY, AND MEET THE CHARITABLE NEEDS OF LOCAL CHINESE FAMILIES.
