ABOVE AND BEYOND ENGLISH SETTER RESCUE

1.      The mission statement of the organization shall be:a.      To find appropriate permanent homes for English setters in hopeless situations through abandonment, owner surrender, or those relinquished by shelters, animal control facilities, agencies or other organizations.b.      To promote adoption of homeless English setters by performing home visits, advertising, screening, education, referrals, networking, and consultations.c.       To maintain a relationship with adopters to provide support, information, referrals, consultations, and other requested assistance.d.      To educate the public at large and potential adopters about the English setter breed through our website, by attending pet and rescue events, participating in public forums, and by introducing English setters to the public live in person. e.      To establish foster homes in order to evaluate the temperment of homeless English setters and to determine the type of home environment that would be best for the permanent placement of the dogs.
