In July 2017, East End Community Services merged with the WestCare Foundation, a national nonprofit offering health and human services. This partnership significantly enhanced East End's capacity by providing professional development services, employee benefits, and grant writing support, contributing to a more sustainable future for the organization[1][3][4].

It collaborates with local authorities to identify individuals in need of support and connects them with vital services. The organization has also expanded its services through programs like Camp Mariposa, which supports children affected by addiction[4]. Additionally, East End offers free pediatric healthcare and family wellness education, benefiting hundreds of children and women in the community[5].

Governance and Partnerships

East End Community Services operates under a board of directors composed of community leaders and professionals. Its partnership with the WestCare Foundation has enhanced its capabilities by accessing more resources and expertise, which aligns with its mission to strengthen community services[3][4].
