We address the growing physician shortage and eliminate medical deserts by empowering scholars to fulfill their dreams of become doctors. The mission of National Medical Fellowships (NMF) is to provide financial support to underrepresented minority medical students, to increase the number of minority physicians in clinical care, research, and academic medicine, and to articulate the vital role minority physicians play in eliminating disparities in healthcare and ensuring the well being of our society.

National Medical Fellowships Weinvest indevelopinghealth care leaders who are determined to deliver excellent health care to all. We provide scholarships based on merit and financial need as well as servicelearning programs that provide handson opportunities to deliver health care in communities lacking access to adequate medical services. NMF also offers training to doctors who wish to lead clinical trial research. Our scholars and alumni are the heart of the work we do.
