🎥 See how AVSI is bringing renewed hope to southern Lebanon—helping communities rebuild their sense of normalcy, one step and one story at a time. With the support of Italy, AVSI Middle East is delivering psychosocial support to over 600 people and recreational activities to 200 children in Nabatieh and Marjayoun, areas still deeply affected by crisis. At the heart of this work is Fadaii—a multifunctional community center designed to respond to the evolving needs of the community (over 100,000 people). Inaugurated in July 2023 and briefly closed due to unrest, Fadaii has reopened, once again offering critical support, including psychosocial care for children and families, as well as safe, welcoming spaces for play, learning, and healing. In Arabic, Fadaii means “my universe”—a place to dream, grow, and imagine a better future.
