The Premier Bagpipe Band of Silicon Valley and Northern California The primary objectives and purposes of Silicon Valley Pipe Band shall be: To educate the public in bagpiping and drumming and other art forms, especially those associated with Scottish and Celtic culture. To provide instruction in bagpiping and drumming and other art forms; To give public performances in bagpiping and drumming, dance and other art forms; To sponsor and/or to participate in special events involving the public performance of any or all of the above art forms as well as other performing arts by the corporation's pipes and drums and dancers as well as by other community performing arts groups; to directly engage in and to provide facilities for others to engage in the promotion of the arts.
