The vision of PFOHC is to cultivate thriving outdoor experiences. The mission of PFOHC is to grow financial resources to enhance the county’s public parks and trails. The Parks Foundation of Hendricks County believes in the transformational power of parks. Beautiful parks, trails and outdoor spaces make our communities more vibrant places to live, work and play and it is our goal to ensure the livelihood and longevity of our community’s incredible parks. We believe that investing in public parks and trails impacts our community positively. Parks support environmental stewardship and conservation, preserve wildlife habitats, promote health and wellness, and contribute to economic development. They also offer access to safe, affordable, and healthy ways to experience and appreciate nature. Our vision is to cultivate thriving outdoor experiences. Our goal is to align and grow our impact to support the evolving needs of the parks and trails in the county.
