Symphony Animal Foundation
"No More Pound Bound Animals"! The purpose of Symphony Animal Foundation (SAF) is to provide a "No Kill" Animal Shelter for all domestic animals and give sustenance to them until a suitable home for adoption can be found. SAF requires that all animals be "Spay or Neutered" and funds the operations for those needing such; other veterinary needs are addressed which includes all necessary vaccinations. A Community Food Bank is provided where pet owner's having financial difficulty can keep their pets and obtain the needed food necessary to sustain them; Education of the community on responsible pet ownership is a key element of the SAF Mission via presentations at schools and other groups. SAF funds a portion of monthly adoptions at the county shelter. The foundation is in the process of transferring operations to their 10 acre permanent facility which is currently under construction but partially finished.
