Mothers have a profound influence on our lives — they shape our character, guide our steps, and lift us up when we need it most. This Mother’s Day, we’re honored to share a few stories from our colleagues about what this special day means to them. Josh Moe, our Senior Manager of Health Informatics, credits his mom for inspiring his passion for health care. “My mom really inspired me to pursue a career in health care. She dedicated her career to nursing, spending time as an RN, an author and a professor of nursing. She was always a strong advocate for healthcare professionals throughout her career. I remember looking forward to watching ‘ER’ on Thursday nights with her growing up and learning so much about her time in the emergency department.” Joanne Pauley, our Donor Relations and Communications Specialist, uses Mother’s Day as a time to reflect on the meaning of motherhood — and to honor all the ways her mom and grandmother have supported and shaped her life. “I remember my first Mother’s Day as a mother. Elevating the voice of youth with the goal of improving health and well-being in schools and the community – that is what the HealthPartners Teen Leadership Council is all about.
