Home | FreeClinicPowhatan About Us Services Programs Patients Ways To Give Events Contact Us News More building a healthier community one person at a time In the summer of 2007 Connie Moslow a community health activist approached the PowhatanChesterfield Health Department the Powhatan County Board of Supervisors and small group of citizens to discuss the idea of establishing a free clinic that would provide medical services to the uninsured lowincome adult residents of the County. The idea was embraced by all and from her vision and with the assistance of numerous organizations and community residents the Free Clinic of Powhatan was established in September 2008. OUR SERVICES Providing primary medical care for both acute conditions and chronic disease management preventative care and specialty referrals as needed. Providing dental care for oral health and restorative treatments and specialty referrals as needed.
