Home - Hyperbaric Vermont What Is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy HBOT involves breathing oxygen while enclosed in a pressurized hyperbaric chamber. HBOT hasbeen wellresearched and widely used around the world for decades to treat over one hundred chronic and acute health conditions many of which like Lyme and Long COVID are on the rise in Vermont. Body tissues need oxygen to function and the increased oxygen and pressure inside the chamber helps the body heal and fight infection.
