100% of all donations to Blankets For The Homeless are used to benefit our cause. No salaries, bonuses or benefits are ever paid to any director, officer, board member, or volunteer. Because we are an all volunteer organization you can be sure your donation is going to helin 2004, Americans donated more than $248 billion to charities. Sadly, most of this money never got to those truly in need. Only 8 percent of that $248 billion directly benefited the poor. There's more bad news; federal support has shifted for the worse. Attention on the burgeoning federal budget has led to reduced budgets for social security and social programs benefiting the poor. Without private donations, these special services for our most vulnerable citizens will decline, or worse yet, disappear. This is why your donations are so important.
