"Will we ever use this in real life?" Seventh grade pre-algebra students answered this question as they recently explored the ways linear functions apply to real-world situations. For this project the students had the challenge of exploring the beauty and order of God’s creation by identifying and analyzing linear relationships that are meaningful to them. Projects spanned a variety of topics including sports, currency, healthcare, transportation, and more. After studying and graphing the relationships, students explained their findings to fellow classmates and guest parents. (fb)
