JALA provides civil legal services to low-income persons primarily in Duval, Clay, Nassau and St. Johns, Florida. JALA also serves Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Madison, Suwannee, Taylor and Union. ORGANIZED TO OPERATE EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF JACKSONVILLE AREA LEGAL AID, INC., A 501(C)(3) TAX EXEMPT ORGANIZATION. MISSION IS TO ASSIST LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS IN JACKSONVILLE, FL AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS WITH CIVIL LEGAL PROBLEMS.
