Building communities of hope for orphans and widows displaced by war in Northern Uganda. A war foug With an impassioned heart for orphans, Village of Hope (VOH) rescues the lives of former child soldiers, sex slaves, child mothers, and other orphans from the rippling effects of the Lord’s Resistance Army’s (LRA) brutalities. Two residential Villages of Hope are safe havens for healing and hope for the future. Our approach is to prepare and inspire VOH’s young men and women to become productive citizens, ethical leaders and beacons for Christ within their communities. Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,"declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
