OMI Cultural Participation Project serves Lakeview/OMI and all the neighborhoods in San Francisco District 11. We rise by lifting others. The mission of the OMI Cultural Participation Project is to promote unity and celebrate diversity within the OMI and broader San Francisco District 11 community, and by creating and supporting artistic, cultural, social, educational, and community events. We are a self-supported, flourishing organization with sufficient resources to provide cultural programs to a diverse community. The OMI community celebrates and values our unity within diversity. Our core values are: Equity and inclusiveness of all community residents, respect for individual differences and ethnic diversity, and unity of commitment and purpose

OMI Cultural Participation Project Creating Community Roots Empowering Families To Come Together Who We Are The OMI Cultural Participation Project is an innovative project that was created to make sure the San Franciscan community is being supported and celebrated. This project works to increase cultural equity by providing opportunities to artists performers and creatives of all ethnicities ages and backgrounds. They work to provide access to cultural representation educational opportunities and support for multilingual communication. The project has been extremely effective in engaging members of the community and providing positive impacts within the San Franciscan community.
