DART-Dade Animal Resource Team for the Mountains and the Valleys - Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama welcome to dart. DART is a nonprofit animal welfare organization for the Mountains Valleys founded in 2006. Comprised of a group of committed proactive volunteers we are dedicated to the mission of reducing the excessive overpopulation of dogs cats puppies and kittens on Lookout Mountain Sand Mountain and surrounding areas. As there is no county or private animal shelter or other animal welfare agency to service this broad region our programs are vital to improving the existing conditions.
