Business for peace community Development foundation (B4PCODEFOUND) World Association for Community Empowerment is a registered nonprofit 501-C-3 tax-exempt organization founded in 2000 with a mission to empower low-income communities and families to become self-sufficient through the provision of a comprehensive array of services that foster hope and provide opportunities for growth and personal development. Founded in the winter of 2000, the organization is a registered nonprofit staffed by community volunteers and interns from undergraduate and graduate schools throughout New York City. Since the foundation, the organization has engaged in offering service of a unique nature aimed at meeting the needs of the community we serve. Currently, the organization provides Job Readiness Training and Referrals, Case Management and Referral, and After School.
