THE ALLIANCE DILIGENTLY MONITORS LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY ISSUES, AS WELL AS EDUCATES AND ADVOCATES TO POLICYMAKERS CONCERNING ALL OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICES YMCAS PROVIDE. WE ARE THE OHIO YMCAS' STATEWIDE VOICE, AND WITH THAT RESPONSIBILITY AND IN OUR WORK WE STRIVE TO UPHOLD THE FOUR CORE YMCA VALUES OF CARING, HONESTY, RESPECT, AND RESPONSIBILITY.THE ALLIANCE ALSO FOSTERS STATEWIDE COMMUNICATION AND COOPERATIONS AMONG OHIO YMCAS, GAINS CONSENSUS ON ISSUES OF IMPORTANCE TO THE YMCA, AND HELPS PROTECT THE OPERATING INTEGRITY OF THE YMCA ORGANIZATION SO IT CAN CARRY OUT ITS MISSION.
