Oakland Estuary Whaleboat Rowing Society The Oakland Estuary Whaleboat Rowing Society OEWRS founded in 2009 is the combination of two longstanding Whaleboat Rowing teams the Ketos Womens Team and the OEWRS Mixed Team formerly Port of Oakland aka POO. We practice yearround rowing on and around San Francisco Bay and the Delta. We invite anyone who would like to learn more about Whaleboat activities and Maritime history in the San Francisco Bay Area to come join us for a row. No experience necessary.
