Meet another one of our 11th Annual Sea Isle City STOMPS Cancer 5K & Walk Teams, Johnny Awesome! 🧡 From Johnny's sister: "We STOMP for my youngest brother, Johnny Awesome! Johnny has overcome a Leukemia diagnosis, and our first STOMP was 3 years ago- we weren’t sure if he would even be able to participate but he pulled through and was able to walk! Our team had continued to grow with love and support from friends and family since then. We are all so excited to see Johnny go from acutely ill to absolutely thriving, now in nursing school, and window shopping for engagement rings with his girlfriend Rose (pictured, who has been his angel through this whole ordeal.) This year we STOMP to help Johnny practice his future walk down the aisle!!! (Well.. according to Rose and me at least!) Shoutout to the incredible students at Cardinal O'Hara High School for another amazing Danny Hammond Dance Marathon! In honor of 2010 graduate Danny Hammond, this student-run event raises funds each spring to support local organizations—and we’re so grateful to be one of them! 🧡 Students raised an incredible $126,000 in total for local charities! Thank you to the students, teachers, and the school community for supporting the Families we help, and for spreading #unexpectedamazingness and Danny’s smile through the power of kindness and compassion for those in need!
