University of Wisconsin-Green Bay | One University, four campuses The Friends of Toft Point operates under the auspices of the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay (UW-GB) since the consolidation of the Friends of Toft Point, Inc. with UW-GB in 2021. The Friends of Toft Point exist to support the management plan of the UWGB for Toft Point, to help protect the flora and fauna of the Toft Point preserve and to help educate visitors about the natural history and the Toft family history of the Toft Point National Natural Landmark and the Toft Point State Natural Area including these specific purposes: Land stewardship, protection and preservation; Education of the natural history and Toft family history; Preservation and maintenance of the historic structures at Toft Point; Trail maintenance; Mapping and cataloging to establish accurate data on nature.
