Volunteers are critical to our mission. We have programs across the globe, but the dedication and commitment of our volunteers remain the same. Many sacrifice a day's pay and walk miles to ensure the children we serve get their daily meal. They are the unsung heroes of our work, and are essential to us reaching more than 2.6 million children every school day. (fb)

Our dedicated friends at Heartland for Kids in Iowa hosted their 12th annual Race to Feed Kids this weekend! Every Mother's Day weekend, the group hosts a run/walk in Des Moines. Heartland for Kids sponsors feeding at Mcheza school in Malawi, Africa. We are so grateful for their commitment to our work and the way they rally their community together in support! (fb)
