▪️Now on Exhibit in Moorhead Experience the powerful stories of resilience and cultural heritage in the latest exhibit featuring portraits and interviews with 13 local Iraqi and Kurdish immigrants who now call Moorhead home. ▪️Alongside personal artifacts generously loaned by participants, the exhibit includes a map tracing migration journeys and a short film featuring a Kurdish-American woman harvesting wild grape leaves along the Red River- a beautiful blend of tradition and place. ▪️Pictured: Eman Yasseen, one of the featured storytellers, beside the portrait. Join us in honoring the voices, journys, and contributions of these community members. Iraqi and American Reconciliation Project Founded in 2007 we are the Iraqi and American Reconciliation Project IARP a nonprofit in Minneapolis Minnesota. We build bridges of communication understanding and support between Iraqis and Americans after decades of USled sanctions war and occupation. We engage Iraqis and Americans in the arts personal and professional exchanges and rebuilding initiatives.
