This Memorial Day, We Remember. These silhouettes represent all the known and unknown men, women, Indigenous warriors, and patriots who made the ultimate sacrifice for this country, beginning with Crispus Attucks, the first to fall in the fight for American freedom. Somewhere along the way, the meaning of this day has been blurred. But Memorial Day isn’t just a day off. It’s a sacred moment to honor those who laid down their lives for something bigger than themselves. They weren’t “suckers” or “losers.” They were courageous souls who gave everything for freedom, for justice, and for the hope of a better future.
