AAPM is a scientific, educational, and professional organization of more than 9,500 medical physicists. ADVANCING MEDICINE THROUGH EXCELLENCE IN THE SCIENCE, EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE OF MEDICAL PHYSICS. THE MISSION IS CARRIED OUT THROUGH DRIVING SCIENTIFIC AND CLINICAL INNOVATION IN MEDICAL PHYSICS TO IMPROVE HUMAN HEALTH, ENHANCING THE VALUE OF AAPM MEMBERSHIP EXPERIENCE AND SERVICES, PROMOTING THE LEADERSHIP ROLE OF THE ORGANIZATION AND ITS MEMBERS, CULTIVATING EXCELLENCE IN MEDICAL PHYSICS EDUCATION, PRACTICING STEWARDSHIP IN CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT FO PROGRAMS AND SERVICES, IMPROVING COMMUNICATION INTERNALLY AND EXTERNALLY, ENSURING HIGH QUALITY PATIENT CARE AND CHAMPIONING EQUITY DIVERSITY AND INCLUDING IN THE FIELD OF MEDICAL PHYSICS.
