Welcome to oaklands diverse and dynamic district. We have what you are looking for from independent shops to delicious restaurants cool cafes and a growing reputation voted East bays favorite neighborhood for going out in December of 2023. Spotlight Roots Project The Temescal Roots Project will honor the rich history of the Black Panther Party039s beginnings inaround Temescal through a public art installation in the heart of the district. This will be the first 3D public art piece to honor the legacy not of a single member but rather the entire Black Panther Party as a whole.
