The purpose of the Texas Statewide Network of Assessment Professionals TSNAP is to develop a communication network to share information and encourage appropriate use of testing in educational settings and to assist with the implementation improvement and maintenance of the statewide testing program. TSNAP also seeks to improve the application of measurements to students and education programs by encouraging research in the areas of elementary and secondary school testing measurement.
