Connecticut Invention Convention raises innovators by teaching K-12 students creative problem-solving through invention! The CIC is the nation’s oldest continuously operating children’s invention competition. The Connecticut Invention Convention is a program of NextMinds and a partner program of the Massachusetts Invention Convention. Our mission is to provide the students of Connecticut with opportunities to develop critical-thinking and creative problem-solving skills through invention and innovation, instilling the spirit of ingenuity in students today and for the rest of their lives.
