We are a grassroots, non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to outreaching to the community Support Our Arthritic Kids (SOAK) provides assistance to the families of our children affected by Juvenile Arthritis. Support Our Arthritic Kids is a non-partisan and non-profit organization whose primary goals are: 1) to engage in education, awareness and provide support to patients, children, parents, and community leaders; 2) to inform the public through outreach programs, health fairs, brochures, pamphlets and other educational materials; 3) by reaching out to under-served communities people may not know they are affected by pediatric arthritis and other autoimmune conditions. We all know exercise is “good for us,” but the benefits can even be greater for children with autoimmune illnesses – as can the downsides of being physically inactive.
