Our mission is to help advance research & education in neuroscience to find answers to addiction, pain, Alzheimer's, brain cancer, PTSD & other brain diseases. IES Brain Research Foundation encourages young scientists to enter the important field of brain research and focus public attention on the frequently overlooked area of basic research of the human brain. The IES Brain Research Foundation, founded in 2003, grew out of the severe cutbacks for basic research. This Foundation raises money to help advance neuroscience research & education that will lead to effective treatments of serious brain diseases & conditions such as pain, addiction, Parkinson's, Alzheimers and schizophrenia. The Foundation also encourages bright, young scientists to enter this important field, as well as educate the public on the importance of basic research to find answers to these devestating diseases that impact us all. This Foundation at this time is run entirely by volunteers
