WEST VIRGINIA RAPTOR REHABILITATION CENTER
Making sure that raptors receive the medical and rehabilitative care they need, training educational ambassadors to use for high quality and unique educational experiences, and to provide scientific data to share with rehabilitation centers and academia. Our goals include but are not limited to making sure that birds of prey get the medical and follow-up rehabilitative care and treatment they need with the intent to either release them back into the wild or find an educational facility where they can live out their lives as educational ambassadors. To provide the public with unique and high-quality environmental, educational experiences. Engage in scientific research on raptor rehabilitation, behavior, health, and ecology to better understand birds of prey. To provide information regarding raptor care and management for the public, rehabilitation centers, and academia.
