The Essence of Today's Khutbah Ten Best Days of Dhul Hijjah! MCC 05/30/2025 Sh.Abdeljalil Mezgouri i) The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” The Hajj is one of it's most important component for those able & with efforts undertake the journey of a lifetime! ii) The Significance of these First Ten Days of Dhul Hijjah! It's the best opportunity to reap immense rewards! It would be real losers who couldn't benefit from it. iii) One of those Blessings is that we are Alive to witness - that is a blessing. With such attitude any challenge becomes easier! That we able to make Duas for all the Blessings! iv) 1. Love Allah SWT. 2.⁠ ⁠If you are not alive - it becomes irrelevant - so being alive to witness the Ten Best Days of Dhul Hijjah is a blessing! 3.⁠ ⁠Vacation is another blessing - you wake up and pay your dues for all the blessings with Duas, three times in mornings and three times in the evenings! v) Very inspirational story by our Libyian brother with a sincere intention to embark on a journey of Hajj transcends the limitations of the temporal world. Hadith: There are no days wherein good deeds are rewarded immensely. The Believers Remember Allah SWT a lot takbeer, tashreeq: ilaha illallah and Allahu Akbar. vi) The Day of Arafah Prophet (ﷺ) received this revelation: “This day I have perfected for you your religion & completed My favor upon you & have approved for you Islam as religion.” (Surah Al-Ma'idah:3) vii) On the Day of Arafah Allah SWT descends to the lowest heaven & praises them to the Angels saying: “Look at my servants who have come to me dishevelled, dusty & crying out from every deep valley. I call you to witness that I have forgiven them.” viii) The End happens in Arafah...Labbaik Allahuma...(“I respond to Your call O Allah! I respond to Your call. You have no partner. I respond to Your call. All praise, thanks & blessings are for You) ix) Fasting on the Day of Arafah expiates 2-years of minor sins. And acts of Charity. In addition, we should increase our Dhikr & Takbeer! Good Deeds... particularly with your kith & kin. Repentance. And finally, the Udhiyah/Qurbani. x) May Allah SWT ease the difficulties of our brothers & sisters in Gaza. Aameen!
