Outreach for Hope supports life-giving ministries that serve with the people of low income communities in @milwaukeesynod. DONATE: https://t.co/h2uHOvfbqi We support ELCA Lutheran congregations and ministries that walk with low-income communities in the Greater Milwaukee Synod. We inspire donors to live and give generously by investing their gifts as a resource for transformation in urban areas of Southeastern Wisconsin, serving communities of poverty. Those gifts are passed on through an annual grant process. We also administer special one-off programs ("Coats for the Cold," "Project Lunchbox,") to fundraise for, and supply, basic necessities such as food and clothing to our partner programs. Finally, we use communication tools to tell the stories of these programs to a wide audience, and we facilitate events (such as an annual Family Bike Ride) which serve as both a fundraising opportunity and a way to share those stories.
