PILnet
PILnet is a global non-profit organization that connects the legal profession around the world to ensure that law works for all. PILnet’s mission is to make law work for all. In just societies, law works for all. PILnet's vision is of a world in which law belongs to everyone and protects interests equally. PILnet's mission is to defend the right, and assert the responsibility, of all lawyers to represent the public interest, and strengthen public interest law, by bringing the particular strengths of corporate law to bear on social justice problems. Over the last 20 years, PILnet has built extensive networks among public interest legal organizations and law firms that provide pro bono support; today, it is exploring ways to merge these networks, utilize the expertise of transactional lawyers to develop new public interest projects, and disseminate these new strategies through its existing networks and fellows.
