Camp RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) is a FREE, highly experiential youth leadership program that fosters personal growth as a leader, self-discovery, and practices for being a team player at school, in the community, and at home. RYLA applications will be accepted from high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors until May 31. The event begins on the evening of August 2, 2022, and ends at 5 pm on August 7, 2022. We expect 220 new students to attend Camp from 35 schools across Marin, SF, and San Mateo counties, along with a staff of 60 youth and adult facilitators, administrators, and nurses. Each student becomes part of a team consisting of 10-12 other new campers and two trained facilitators. The Camp is located near Scotts Valley, CA. These RYLA scholarships are funded by 45 Rotary Clubs throughout Rotary District 5150 (San Mateo, San Francisco, and Marin Counties) including our Rotary Club of West Marin.
