Protecting the Irreplaceable in Hawaii since 1974 Historic Hawaii Foundation is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit organization dedicated to saving Hawaii's historic places. Historic Hawaii Foundation exists because of the financial support of its members. The purpose of the foundation shall be to preserve and encourage the preservation of historic buildings, objects and sites relating to the history of Hawai'i to promote an awareness of and respect for all that is historically significant and architecturally distinctive in our State; and through these efforts, to keep alive and intact for the enrichment of present and future generations the inherent beauty of the Hawaiian Islands and its unique historic role in the development of the Pacific Basin.

Helping People Preserve Historic Places About HHF Preserving Hawaiis Historic Places for 50 Years. A statewide nonprofit organization Historic Hawaii Foundation encourages the preservation of historic buildings sites and communities relating to the history of Hawaii. Hawaiis Historic Properties View a list of historic properties in Hawaii and find the history location and significance of each property. The program is part of Historic Hawaii Foundations Preservation Resource Center and is supported by the Historic Preserves of Hawaii grant from the Hawaii Community Foundation.
