What an incredible day at Statehouse for Library Legislative Day! It was inspiring to see more than 350 advocates come together to speak up for the future of public libraries across our state. From insightful discussions with lawmakers to hearing the stories of how libraries are changing lives, it was a powerful reminder of the vital role our libraries play in strengthening communities and fostering opportunity. Tell them to restore the Public Library Fund to the amount designated in the governor’s proposed budget, and share how important the library is to you and your family and how a cut to libraries would impact you and your neighbors.
