OUR PURPOSE IS TO INCREASE THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF HOUSING IN OBERLIN,OHIO AND TO: 1 EDUCATE OBERLIN COMMUNITY ABOUT TECHNIQUES FOR AND BENEFITS OF BECOMING MORE ENERGY EFFICIENT. 2 MAKE LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS MORE FINANCIALLY SECURE IN THE FACE OF RISING UTILITY COSTS. 3 IMPROVE THE DAILY QUALITY OF LIFE OF RESIDENTS BY CREATING A MORE COMFORTABLE HOME. 4 REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF POLLUTION AND CO2 EMITTED BY OBERLIN HOUSING AND MOVING THE COMMUNITY TOWARD CLIMATE NEUTRALITY. 5 REDUCE OBERLIN'S BASE LOAD ELECTRICITY REQUIREMENTS BY MOVING AWAY FROM COAL-GENERATED ELECTRICITY.
