Manakamana Fund grants scholarships to young Nepali women for post-secondary education in 5 degrees: Auxiliary Nurse-Midwife, Certified Medical Assistant, Primary School Teacher (+2 in Education), Lab Assistant, and Junior Technical Assistant (an agriculture degree).We look for village girls who have passed the comprehensive exam after 10th grade, who live in villages, and who will return to their villages to work after completing their degrees.We fund recipients for school fees, books, lodging, food, transportation and incidental expenses.
