We have a wonderful weekend announcement that we have all waited for a very long time ! Winter and Willow are home !! I repeat Winter and Willow are home and so loved . After 10 months in rescue Debbie and Mike Olson from Bruce TWP Michigan have officially adopted them . Debbie and Mike drove all the way to the rescue even spending the night in Wisconsin to be able to rest up and head back the next day with the pair . The updates and pictures we have received throughout this last week tell me our babies aren’t missing us just as it should be ! Special thanks to Debbie and Mike for opening their home and hearts up to these two !! GPRW has a new temporary resident at the shelter . Meet Bleu . Bleu is a healthy 4 year old male Great Pyrenees . Bleu’s owner is a veteran who is experiencing serious health issues and can no longer care for his beloved Bleu . GPRW will put everything we have into helping this veteran and his family by helping this dog . Bleu is good with most other dogs as well as cats and even a bunny or two . He does have positive experience with children . He is house trained . He walks well on a leash . A home with a fence is required.
